March Thoughts- Store Updates, COVID-19, Mindfulness

Hey Humans,

I wanted to check-in with you all and give you some updates. A few things: the online store is still open and I am shipping orders out in a timely manner. Thank you to everyone who has purchased and supported my small business thus far. As a one woman show it truly means the world!

If you're not already, follow the shop on Instagram @thelandofgold, as I will be doing giveaway's for every 1,000 followers we gain! <3

Also offering free shipping on orders over $50 in the U.S. YAY!

I will be doing these newsletters/blog posts every month with book recommendations, beauty tips, articles, travel destinations, thoughts for the month etc. I want Land of Gold to be a space that offers knowledge, sparks inspiration, uplifts others and brings you joy.  This isn't an ordinary jewelry line, although I LOVE fashion it's more of a lifestyle, state of mind. I'm really big on connecting and helping others. So I want to include all the things I love and learn on my journey with you all in one space. Incase you miss these newsletters via email or ever want to come back and read, they can be found on the website under Blog!

Ok, so a few thoughts on everything surrounding all that's been going on. I hope everyone is staying healthy and in good spirits while navigating COVID-19 and social distancing. This is a very interesting time that we-humanity are going through together.  I'd like to be a reminder to take this time to slow down, self-reflect, practice self-love and clear space. This is also a great time to check in and catch up with others. We're human, we all appreciate someone thinking of us and reaching out.  We all have such busy lives, consumed by our daily habits and routines, that we aren't always aware of what's going on around us. But this is an amazing opportunity to be intentional and present.  One of the lines in the articles below stood out to me "Live intentionally, not automatically."   Let us take this time to take control of our lives, slow down, connect, dream, plan and pray for what we want. I mean what we TRULY want--out of today, 6 months from now, a year from now and long term. Our jobs are what we do, not what we were created to do. I believe this time will be revealing to many of us. And you know the adage.. "This too shall pass".. and trust it will. This time will pass and we don't wan't to miss the moments/messages God gives us. If you're having anxiety with work, bills etc, practice gratitude journaling or meditating. Gratitude helps us from the misfortunes that happen to us by focusing on the many blessings we have.  There's an important spiritual lesson to be learned with everything that happens good or bad. And that's what we are here to do, to learn the lessons and evolve. With nothing but time on our hands-we can only hope we all  come out of this stronger. It's also a good practice to seek the good or find the meaning in every situation, it makes life a little easier to digest.  :)
Look for the good and you will find the good. We are all one. Peace and blessings to you all.  Stay Golden!
With Love, Havilah

  • I truly adore the pieces I’ve purchased from the shop.. the Chandelier necklace is so pretty, so unique-can be dressed up or down. The Boxx necklace is great to wear alone or layered. The Cross earrings are so cute and wearable! I even got them for a bestie as well.. I love your shop!!

  • Beautiful jewellery line created by a beautiful soul. I have been following Havilah for quite some time and can honestly say she is so unique in what she does and how she expresses love in a world that often sabotages it. I got excited when ordering Havilah’s pieces because not only are they beautiful, but reflect a storyline of great energy – i am proud to wear.
